Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next six months, my focus is on saving more money to comfortably pay school fees for my siblings. I wouldn't want them to have interrupted studies that will, later on, affect their performances. I want them to have the best so that they can have equal opportunities in life every other child.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference is that I bought a cow now we can have our own milk and I have been able to pay school fees for my siblings as well. This is a huge step ahead because before we had to purchase milk from our neighbors and it was costly hence on several occasion we went without breakfast. My siblings were constantly home on school fees. This interfered with their performances but that is no longer the case anymore given that I have been able to pay their school fees.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I am certain that my siblings will be attending school smoothly without any interference like before where they were constantly sent home for school fees. I have set aside some money to purchase another cow to increase milk production. This will also boost our livelihoods when we sell the extra milk after setting aside some for household consumption.

Alongside the agricultural production, I have been working on other goals within and outside our household. Currently, I have an additional goal to ensure that I purchase a heifer in the next four months. I have been fully participating in the merry-go-round which I expect to receive my turn in December. Our group consists of 15 members and each member has been contributing 1500 KES monthly. The total contribution according to my projection will be enough to purchase a heifer worth 15000 KES and used the remaining on other household requirements.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have bought a dairy cow. I used to save some money in the merry go round group that we started in our village immediately after the first transfer. When I received my share, I used all the money to buy a dairy cow and we no longer buy milk like we used to do before. I'm a business lady and I sell groceries at the markets and this earns me small money which cannot take care of all the basic needs at home. Owning a dairy cow was not possible because I could use all the money on basic needs. Currently, I earn an income from the sales of milk at the nearby market center and I saved the money to use in paying school fees for the children in school. I'm so grateful for the support.
