What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing food for the family consumption and paid workers to prepare my parcel of land. I also completed constructing my latrine and used most of the amount on building a kitchen to avoid cooking in the main house which is inconveniencing especially when I have visitors.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I have managed to build a latrine, paid fee arrears that was remaining and my child has picked the high school certicate hence can look for a job and I have also built a kitchen.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GiveDirectly did well was changing the lives of many people in our village by sending the transfers directly without involving the second party like the chiefs.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on building a new pit latrine using cement and metal to make it stand for longer considering our weak soil structure. I also spent some on farming and the rest went into paying some fee arrears for my son to enable him get his certificates.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have seen great changes in my life, I am at peace because my son has finally got his college certificates and can now look for work.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I decided to buy some 6 bags of cement as a motivation towards achieving my long term dream of having a cemented house.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am not having a latrine and therefore I will use a good fraction of this my upcoming second transfer for digging and constructing a latrine, which is currently posing a great challenge on us. Again, the remaining part of it will further the education of my child who is currently in high school.

I plan to use my transfer on starting a cereals business. I will buy grains like beans, rice ,greengrams and sell them at the local market in ahero
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is building my own house after the death of my husband. It made me very proud
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is not being able to put my children through collage due to lack of finanaces
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I wake up and thank the Lord for another beautiful day
