How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal for my recent transfer is for me to pay workmanship and buy wood for my house.

In my mind GiveDirectly did well because they help me with money to build my house and take care of my family. I did not experience anything that GiveDirectly did not do well.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't having new goals before receiving this transfer; I'm planning to plaster my entire house both inside and outside.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly had putting smile on my face; from the onset of this program I thought i couldn't benefit from this program because I'm a different person living among this people but Give Directly don't discriminate.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: I was building a house for my spouse but I couldn't complete it because of our financial struggles which was beyond our control.
With this givedirectly transfer program we had decided to complete the house because i do not want my spouse to be living in family or relative house as a man.
As a man, it is my greatest proud to be able to take responsibility for my family.

RE: With the help givedirectly is giving we the less privilege it is heart warming.
Therefore, in my opinion i have not seen or observed anything givedirectly isn't doing well.They are transparent and friendly as well, with everything I have seen, this program is going well since the beginning of the program till now.

RE: We used our transfer to purchase cement for the completion of our house which is our first priority right now.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
During the registration process when I was told that I was going to receive such an amount of money unconditionally, I didn't believe it.
But when I received the first transfer I was so excited. It was like a dream.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Imagine I built a house without zinc. The wok was at a standstill because I couldn't afford to pay for zinc before even mentioning cement.
But with the help of Give Directly transfer which I didn't ever believe that I was going to receive such an amount of money free, I was able to purchase zinc and cement for my house.
I am so grateful to the Give Directly family.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I plan to take care of my children with my transfer from Givedirectly. I do gold minding and my business is more about luck. It isn't something I depend on for regular provisions. Getting Givedirectly transfer will help me cater for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My joy over the past six months has been my children. They keep amazing in their academics. Two of my kids top their classes and this brought me joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My current challenge now is catering for my family. Of recent I have found it difficult providing for family because of the difficulties generating funds. Getting Givedirectly transfer will help me a lot with this.
