How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved because these transfers have enabled me to build a permanent house. Now I sleep well. Previously, I slept in leaking thatched house because I could not afford to renovate it annually.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by giving me money for building apermanent house and repossessing my farm land. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I repossessed my Agricultural land which I had used as security for the loan, accessed treatment, saved, bought food, clothing/household goods, paid school fees for my children and bought Agricultural seeds.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
There is a big change in my life now because I'm constructing an iron roofed house for my self. Am currently sleeping in a grass thatched house with a leaking roof and when it rains I have to lift my bedding and stand at the corner of the house. I will be shifting soon and it is the source of my happiness.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer, I felt happy for such a great opportunity of unconditional cash that has relieved me from poverty. I thank God.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying building materials that am currently using for constructing an iron roofed house. I purchased kitchen utensils, bed sheets, shoes and food.

The happiest part of the day is evening, it's a time village mates spend taking "Ajono" local beer in my compound , so they make fun that excites me.

The biggest hardship I face is lack of money for buying land to farm.
