What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am successful to receive the transfer ( money), I will invest it into business. I do this because business has been my plan long time to do but the funds to do that was not there. Now that GD is coming to give me money when I am successful, I will invest that into business. I will buy bags of rice, tin of oil and other table markets goods and sale same here by retail. I decided to invest into food stuffs market because those are fast buying items here. Although I can earn money from the coal I can produce, but I used that money to pay my children school fees and also used some to provide food for the family. So by receiving this transfer, it will be a golden opportunity for me to do business that I have anticipated long time ago.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Yes, I am always happy the fact that I am alive and as well as my family. These days, the death rate is high. Almost everyday I heard death news in other towns around me and even in town here. But the fact that I am well in my body and able to work and provide for my family, I am very happy for that. To add to that happiness, GD brought a great news today about giving us money.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenge faced by me and my household here is how to raise money to provide food for the family and also pay my children school fees. I got three of my children in school now, so to raise money and send them to school is a major challenge for me. Although as I told you earlier, I produced coal , sale same and pay thier fees. But coal production is a hard work for me to do regularly. The processes I passed through to produce the coal are all very difficult. Besides the production, the price of coal has dropped as well. As the result of that, I don't earn enough money to settle the children school fees all of the time. So, this makes raising money a major challenge for my household.
