How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I believe my life has changed a lot because for one I managed to pay school fees for my children for the whole year so right now the financial burden on me has really eased up.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I think the organization has a way of giving the community members an opportunity to make adjustments and improvements in their lives.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the money to buy new beans seedlings that I bought at a total cost of 2000 KES. I also leased a farm that was given to me at a cost of 5000 KES. After that I paid some casual workers who helped in the process of cultivation at a total cost of 4000 KES. Apart from that I decided to pay school fees for my children where i paid a total of 40000 KES due to the pending arrears by that time.
