What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my send transfer for buying a bull. Am currently laying bricks and i have put a side some money which i intend to use for constructing my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion Give Directly did well to send to me that big amount of money. Even if i worked for many years i would have not managed to get such money and i did not have hope of holding much money ever in life.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if i never got money. I have been able to marry my wife, i also bought my bull which will help me plough when the season comes and above all i have money in my pocket.

I spent 1,200,000 UGX of the first cash transfer to complete the marriage rites of my wife and I also bought some household property to start my own family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
At that moment I felt very happy and very grateful that Givedirectly had chosen to help me. I am still jubilating and filled with happiness for having received the cash transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I am now happy because I was able to marry my wife who now cooks and helps me at home. Before I received the cash transfer I was not considered a responsible man but as I speak now, everybody in the village accords me the respect I deserve.
