What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfers worth 1,633,000ugx I paid a debt of 210,000ugx borrowed from a money lender. I also bought a mattress at 110,000ugx in order to improve on my living conditions. I met the need of plastering my house and bought 5 bags of cement at a cost of 160,000ugx, Sand at 120,000ugx, a door and a window at 100,000ugx not forgetting labour for engineers which was 160,000ugx in order to improve on my shelter.I paid medical bills worth 45,000ugx and the balance of 828,000ugx, I will use for completing the construction of my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has empowered most families and made them independent. I don't see what they have not done well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have less stress over family problems than it was before.

The biggest difference in my life is that i am now a very happy lady because I can now afford to build an iron roofed house,if it was not because of this money I would not have managed to build my housevalone,since I am lame and does not have any other source of income.

The happiest part of my day is in the morning. I get happy whenever i wake up healthy.
