What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used part of my second transfer both a cow and an ox. I did this because I always get challenge when it comes to ploughing so the ox will help in sloughing while the cow will be providing me milk. I also bought bedding for my children because they used to sleep on ground on papyrus mat which I found risky because at times they could be bitten by ants.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well by giving the needy cash and letting them decide on what to spend it on while on the other hand I feel GdiveDirectly should be giving us money monthly so that we can sustain our living standards.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the money in that I wouldn't have managed to build the kind of house I have now. Previously I have a small two room house which could fit my family but now I have a bigger three room house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I constructed a semi-permanent house of 30 iron sheets where I currently live more comfortably. Initially, the house where I lived was too tiny to offer us comfort that we needed in life-it was overcrowded and poorly ventilated.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first transfer from Give Directly, I felt very excited. I would acquire a bigger house that I had been dreaming of in life.
