What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for burning bricks which i intend to use for constructing an iron roofed house. I stocked two bags of millet, bought clothes for my household members, paid school fees and kept the balance for food.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly did well to give us the phones and money. I would have died without getting my own phone but am also now connected to people.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if i did not get the money in that we now dress well in our family. My child stayed home for one year after sitting primary seven but as we talk i have already paid his school fees and am very happy.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now own cattle. Am very sure in future I will be able to pay school fees for my Children and my cow is going to produce milk for the family.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used by first transfer for buying a cow at 880,000ugx, a bull at 640,000ugx, thatch at 30,000ugx and the balance am using it for making bricks for constructing a house for my children.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my first transfer, I was over whelmed by joy in away that I couldn't get back to sleep.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of money for Educating my daughter who had passed to senior one last year ,so I made her to repeat primary seven.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is evening when I meet with my friends and we discuss issues related to our families.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will help my family to buy seeds to plant next season and the balance I will use for buying cattle.
