My additional plans for the next four months is to be able to build a new house. We are currently staying in a small house that is way too old as well and I am looking forward to building a better one once I receive my monthly merry go round contribution.

I have been able to start a poultry keeping project over the last four months. It is through these transfers that I was able to start a poultry keeping project where I bought chicken with part of the transfers received each month. I am looking forward to even improving this in the long run since it is of great help to me and my family in terms of meeting the cost of the basic household needs.

In the next six months, I expect to have completed the construction of the house and I also expect the cost of living to be much more affordable for me considering that I will have more poultry chicken to take care and meet my needs as a family.

My new additional goal is to continue saving in merry go round group that we have started in our village. When it will be my turn to be given my shares I will use the money to buy a dairy cow. This will enable me to cut the cost of buying milk which is very expensive.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have started poultry keeping projects at home which was always my dream. This small project earns me an income through the sales of eggs at the market. I had no source of income and getting the basic household needs was not an easy task. I could do casual jobs in the village but the money that I could get was so small. Currently, I am able to get the basic needs without much struggle because I sell eggs daily. I save some amount to enable me to gather for any emergy including paying part of the school fees for my children.

I expect my life to change in that I will have saved some money In merry go round to enable me to start a horticulture farming. I will have enough food for the family and even sell the surplus to pay part of the school fees for my children.

My next goal is to construct a new kitchen. The kitchen I am using currently is in bad condition. It is an old grass thatched roof that normally leaks during rainy seasons. I believe that this would end soon since I am planning to put up a good one.

Since I started receiving transfers from Give Directly, I have been investing part of it on my poultry farm. Now I have to build a good poultry house because my chicken has increased and needs a bigger room. I now have twenty chicken. The twenty chicken allows me to collect at least two crates a week, this translates to around KES 1200. This has been a supplementary source. I recently managed to buy two sheep due to this extra income. I don't think I could have bought them any time soon

In the next six months, I believe I will have completed constructing my new kitchen and this means I will be having a good place for cooking. My family won't suffer anymore by sleeping hungry during the rainy seasons. Apart from having a place to cook in, my children will also have a decent room where they can sleep in without being interrupted

My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I no longer struggle so much in doing casual jobs like before but rather dedicate much of my time in my poultry project. I also have a source of income through the sale of eggs which I did not have before.

I do not have a new goal now, but to just concentrate on the new project of poultry to ensure that I have enough hens and also be able to look for a good market where I will sell the eggs.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I built a good poultry house and started poultry keeping project. This project earns me an income by selling eggs to meet additional household needs for my family. I do casual jobs and the money I get is not enough to meet basic needs and to even start any project. I used to struggle so much and I had no time to do my own activities but currently, I have time to work on my project because I know that I will earn some income. I usually collect eggs weekly and sell at the nearby market. I use some of the money to buy feeds for them and save the rest for my daily needs. I'm so happy with the support because it has really changed my living standard. I do not have a new goal now, but to just concentrate on the new project of poultry and ensure that I have enough hens and also be able to look for a good market where I will sell the eggs

I expect my life to change in the next six months poultry in that I will have saved good money to build a bigger house for my poultry and also added the number of hens.

My life is currently different in that I have reduced the amount of casual labour that I do to get enough money to meet my family's needs such as food and clothes. I now get time to do my own job and have a good time with the family something I could not do before.

In the next four months, I want to dwell on poultry farming. I just completed constructing poultry house and I want be able to meet basic daily needs with much ease and reduce the burden of working endlessly as a casual labourer. I am no longer as strong as I used to be for casual labour and thus the need of finding an alternative way of surviving.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to construct a poultry house and also been able to buy a goat. The poultry house is a great step towards starting poultry business, a thing I have been yearning to do for a long time in my life. The proceeds from my poultry keeping project shall enable me to be able to meet most of my daily needs without having to work for longer hours as a casual labourer as I sometimes do. I have also been able to buy a goat that will assist me at a later date to buy a dairy cow for the family and put to an end the hustle of buying milk day in day out which is so costly as well.

In the next six months, I will have more chicken in my poultry house. This consequently means that I will have more income from the poultry and hence able to meet most of my familys basic needs with little difficulty. I expect to have stopped engaging in any form of casual labour to earn a living like I am doing now.

My life is so different from how it was because I now save money in a merry go round. I never used to save because I used to spend all the money I could get from doing casual jobs.

I plan to build a poultry house. I will use it effectively to keep chicken that I have.

The biggest difference in my life is that have bought hens to rear on my farm. When they start to lay egges , I will be getting agood income.

In the next six months, I will have bought a goat to further grow my benefits from these transfers.

I want to start rearing poultry. I want to buy a wire mesh and build a fairly large poultry house for me to keep these chicken.

My life right now has so much joy and happiness because of Givedirectly. They are God sent.

I expect to have an improved state of our lifestyle and improved development. We want to have enough food for our children too.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that there is a great feeling that we are going to develop individually and communally because of the transfers we get from Givedirectly.
