Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
To be honest, I was very happy when I received my transfer. It's has been very hard for me to find money because I don't have a reliable source of income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
So much has changed, I did have food but with the transfer I managed to buy more food and I am a happy person. I also did not have enough kitchen utensils but now my kitchen utensils are all set. My house has also been improved with the materials I have bought. I am so grateful for the transfer.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My main desire was to improve my house. I just built a house and it's been hard to finish it. So I bought all required materials to finish my house. I have managed to buy 8 bags of cement, a door and a door flame. I also bought fertilizer. Hunger has been troubling me for the past days. So I bought 8 bags of maize so that I can be food secured. I also bought kitchen utensils and a mattress. The other amount of money was used to buy daily basic needs such as salt and soap.
