Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My friend and i went up the hill to checked our phones.to my surprise, my account was top up with $40375. Liberian dollar. I was excited! because i have never handle such amount before. I have lived my life on promises and hope. The moment i cash my money out of my phone, my heart felt relaxed. Givedirectly has safe us by coming to our aid. My unborn baby will sleep on good mattress and sleep under new roof.

The biggest difference in my daily life since I got on Givedirectly program, am now sleeping on comfortable mattress. Before i used to take contracts from people and get little amount of nothing. We moe bricks for the government housing units in the nearby village. Hoping that we could benefit from the program but to non avail. I can't hardly go on farm these days because of my condition. My husband alone has been suffering with this family. Givedirectly has changed my life, my making my unborn child will sleep on good mattress and live in zinc house .

I bought zinc and mattress with the money i received from Givedirectly. I also give some to my brother to start his business. I used some to buy food and medicine for my children. Givedirectly is indeed a God send blessing to me.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive the money, I will install my room door and other furnitures. I will also send my daughter to school and open big business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The only thing that made me happy, was when heard about GiveDirectly and the opportunity your want to give us. The phone really makes me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The problem that I'm facing, is that we struggle a lot to get our daily bread. At times we hardly find food to eat, our neighbors are the ones help us.
