Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home resting from work in the evening at around 4 PM. I was very excited and almost felt like flying but couldn't do it. I first thought about the place I was living because the house wasn't mine.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I'm less stressed about life now. The family is happy.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought a cow first because I didn't have one. (I would have bought land if it was available at the moment).

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Basing on what Iam going through with my family members, when the transfer comes I will buy a plot of of land at USD540 which will use for both settlement and cultivation in order to get food for my people and also shift them to a new house which I build on this plot of land worthUSD675 so that we can live without any worries that we shall be sent away from the house. I will also buy a cow of USD351 that will provide us more milk and make meet most of the basic needs and also catering for school requirements for my children to study in good schools where they can perform well. The balance of USD324 will help me acquire things to use in the house for example chairs, beds, blankets, clothes and also building a kitchen.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Surprisingly I had a cow which someone gave me to take care of and it gave birth, something that enabled my family members enjoy milk and sell some to meet some other basic needs which helped us live a fairly.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest challenge Iam facing is that the house we stay in is not ours so I have a worry that the owner may come anytime and send us away which will worse the stule of living because we shall have no where to sleep. Another a challenge is having a small piece of land which at times think of selling in order to build a house but then ask myself many questions. When I sell land, where will I cultivation from to get food for my people and Another question is that where will I construct the house and the answer cones back to staying in someone's house other than selling the only piece of land have in life. I have also failed to school fees that can take my children to good schools hence leaving them in local Government schools which do perform well.
