Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was super excited when i got the transfer,i couldn't believe it with my eyes and i thank this organisation for the awesome opportunity.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is i now sleep in a my own house, this is something i ever wished for and thank GOD that i have achieved it.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have been living in this village for 10 years and all this time i have been renting a house, when i saw this opportunity i thought to myself that building my own house won't be a bad idea at all,so when i got the transfer i bought land in another village and i moved there so that i should be monitoring the house project since I'm building one. With the remaining part of the transfer i have used it to buy house building materials like ironsheet,Timba, and bricks,i also bought a few clothes for my self.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will enable to build my house. We live in my husband's village but in a rented house all these years. I do fish business and from my gains we have acquired land and want to build a house. I already have a brick oven that's about to be burnt, I just finished buying firewood for that. So this money will allow me to build the house without challenges.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am the happiest when my family and I wake up healthy in the morning and also when I manage to eat in the afternoon and chat with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship has been money, I try with my business but it is never enough. Living in a rented house, putting food on the table and clothing my children puts pressure on my finances. My husband does not help out financially, he's a skirt chaser and mostly spends money spoiling other women than taking care of me and the children.
