What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying a tree cutting machine since i am a lumberjack. This is what I do to earn some money.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I was surviving on doing hard labour for over 5 years as this was the only way i managed to earn and it would still be the case if i had not received transfers however my life is different because i now do lumbering and earn money as i bought a tree cutting machine with the transfers I received. And most importantly i decide when to work since i am my own boss.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by sensitizing us as to how we could possibly use the transfers as this helped us to get an insight into the various ways we can spend our transfers.

I spent my first transfer on buying timber to renovate my house that i had used poles for the roof and now its good timber. I also bought a goat so i can have an animal to rear at home
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When i received the money, i was so excited and was in a taxi travelling. I decided to stop and withdrew the money before i reached where i was going. Thanks alot GD

I did buy a goat that produced more goats that i sold and bought a cow.

The biggest hardship i have ever faced is residing in unfinished house that sometimes leaks whenever it rains.

I am always happy during afternoon hours when am chatting with my friends,having accomplished a day's garden work.
