What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy cement, sand and murram which I have used to renovate my house from mud to plastered. I spent some amount to pay school fees for my children, I bought goats for rearing and also when in financial need, I can sell. The remaining amount, I spent to buy a sack of maize for consumption and food for y family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not received the transfer, I would not have renovated my house but would still be living in a house made of mud and also I would not have manged to pay school fees for my grandchild.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers directly and letting us prioritize our own needs and also it has uplifted our living standards. I have not seen anything that GD has not done.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on renovating my house, building a kitchen and buying two sheep.My house was very old so I cemented and enlarged it to a bigger size.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am currently living in a nice house and keeping the two sheep to reproduce and multiply. I am so grateful because my life would have not changed if I never received this transfer. Thanks to GiveDirectly.

I spent my first transfer on cultivating my farm so that I can increase my yield. The remaining cash I spent on buying a bag of maize for family consumption.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to renovate my current house because the walls are cracking ,secondly l also intend to buy a cow for milk production,lastly l will also build a decent latrine for my family since we don't have one.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is being able to do farming which has been my greatest source of in come, I grow traditional vegetables and millet.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is paying school fees for my grandchildren currently in secondary school and also the source of income is not sustainable enough.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning when working in my farm .In my farm l grow, traditional vegetables and Kales
