What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my entire third transfer on building a spacious decent three roomed house and now I am happy since I am no longer staying in a leaky grassed thatched house which was one room with my four children .I am thankful to GiveDirectly for giving me what I can call a home.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the second transfer to buy fishing net for fishing, since l had a boat but l did not have fishing net. I spent the transfer to buy donkey as also my source of income, since l use it to carry water a round the village and sell it to people and get my daily income. I also spent the transfer to buy wet-cell for lighting my house and so l do not spent money to pay paraffin everyday. I also spent the transfer to buy plastic chairs. The remaining balance l spent to buy goats for my future use.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchasing fishing nets for my daily fishing activities. I previously used other people's nets who demanded a lot of money for the use of those nets, something that I could not cope with well since I also needed money from the same activity to meet my family's daily needs.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy when I received my transfer which to me was very timely as it came at a time when I seriously needed money to purchase my own nets.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is lack of money to pay fees for my children, food and proper clothing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When I get a good catch in the morning, I feel so happy because I am certain to provide for my household needs like food, clothes and fees for the children.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means a great change in my life. I would like to construct a better house of iron sheet that is spacious enough to accommodate my family. I would also want to expand my business of fishing and pay fees for my children.
