How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed because I'm now sleeping in well ventilated house with enough fresh air. I have also repossessed my Agricultural land which I have cultivated in g- nuts. Before these transfers, I slept in congested house which had poor ventilation and I could just rent the farm land.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,GiveDirectly done well by helping me to repossess my farm land and to complete to build my permanent house. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought building materials ( sand, bricks, Windows, 22 bags of cement and paint) paid labour and school fees.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The cash transfer came in at the time when I was too ill and paralyzed. My health has now stabilized because I was able to access medical treatment in time. This was a blessing to my family because we did not have money to access medical treatment.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was woken up by the vibration of my phone at night. When my spouse read, I lept up with joy and we shared our plans and agreed on what we should do next.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first cash transfer to pay a debt worth UGX 200000 and UGX 1000000 was paid as an installment on the purchase of a motorcycle. I spent UGX 250000 to purchase bedding, clothes, utensils and food. I spent UGX 150000 on my medical treatment and the balance of UGX 100000 was spent to purchase groundnut seeds.
