How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Life is different in than I sleep better on a bed with mattress and there's a solar to provide lighting at night. In addition, children are happy to be at school. Before, it was very difficult to find money to pay children school fees, and we used to sleep on the floor with a mat.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The cash transfer has impacted positively on my daily life. I am happy because I acquired a solar panel which acts as a source of light and provides us power for charging our phones. This means that, we nolonger have to use kerosene lamps which are a health risk to us.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
That day my phone was off. However, the next day I heard my neighbours talking about the cash transfers. I hurried to charge my phone and checked my account. When I read the mobile money message, I felt very happy because this cash transfer was going to settle my debts and family responsibilities.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first cash transfer to pay a debt worth UGX 300000 and I purchased a solar panel and battery worth UGX 100000. I also bought food worth UGX 100000. The balance of UGX 1200000 will be spent on purchasing oxen.
