How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Honestly my life has changed for the better since Give Directly came. We are now able to have food three times a day. We have enough cooking utensils that as it is we are never embarrassed when visitors come in my home.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, give directly does nothing wrong. Givedirectly is the only organisation that reaches directly to recipients without middle men. This helps that the right people should receive the funds.
It is also a good thing that we are given a platform of empowering knowing that we make our own decisions of how to use the money. We are glad and happy with this empowerment
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Using my second transfer, i bought door and window frames, i also bought iron sheets to use in my new house that i will be building. With my first transfer i managed to mould bricks and this second transfer will help me finish up building the house
