What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying school uniforms, school book, two sacks of maize, food and I also started a shop business that supports me financially
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because I was able to buy cattle that help me in farming and provide me with milk, I also started a business that acts as my main source of income, were it not for Give Directly I would not have managed by myself
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly has improved lives of the less fortunate in the community, people have built new houses, people have started business and they have also progressed in a lot of ways , I have not seen anything that they haven't done well

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy two heifers that I will use on my hand drawn plough and help me in tilling my farm lands. I also paid school fees and bought uniform and books for my son who joined secondary school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I have been to successfully take my son to secondary school and now I am relieved that he can also pursue his dreams like other children.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy some oxen and a ploughing machine which I will use when tilling my farm. The remaining transfers will be used to buy sand and cement which I will use to renovate my house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having been a successful farmer and I have always managed to feed my family with crops that I harvest.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of a sustainable source of income, I have children who are in primary school but I am not sure if I will be able to pay their fees this coming term. If I am unable to raise the required fees they may drop out of school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning because I have been able to see another day.
