What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on plastering my house which was initially made of mud and very dusty. Plastering has helped me curb a lot of problems one of them being reduction of rate of dust related infections. Secondly, I have manage to reduce the rate at which the walls were being washed away by rain during rainy seasons.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has greatly changed with the receipt of the transfers. For once in my entire life, I have consumed milk from my own cow and fed appropriately without necessarily depending on relatives.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I can say that GiveDirectly has worked so well more than any other organisation in this village. It's ability to meet each and every individual's needs has made it outstanding as compared to all other organisations. One thing that I would recommend is the idea of enrolling more elderly than the youths as opposed to the previous plan of giving a priority to the youths who are still energetic and better placed to look for their own means of survival.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on building a much spacious house than the previous one which was much smaller for my family,i also bought a cow which has since given birth and is providing me with milk that i sell for money to acquire other needs.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is living in a spacious house that is less stuffy unlike the previous one,i am now breathing fresh air unlike before.

We're planning to spend our transfer on building a new bigger house and use the remaining amount to buy two cows to raise.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we're proudest of is having been able to build our current house, the thatched house we used to live in was very uncomfortable and would leak during rainy seasons.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we face now is on making ends meet, we depend on casual jobs to make a living and most times the jobs are not readily available.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I'm out in other people's farming helping them out at a fee which I later use to get food for the family.
