How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No, there is no major plans right now accept the planned I made before. I told GiveDirectly that I want to build a new house for myself and I'm greatly working towards that planned.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
All of the work GiveDirectly has done for my family I and I, are good. Because some of us never had the means of building new house at this crucial time, but with the help of GiveDirectly, I'm going to have my own house soon.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Although I have not used my money yet but I'm intending to build my own house, because the house I'm presently living in, is not mine. I have been living in other people's house for so many years now. Since God has blessed me with this money through GiveDirectly, I will use it for the intended purpose.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive the money, I plan to build my own house. My husband and I currently live in a relative's house. My family is very large. Wherever my siblings visit our village, there're almost always no enough rooms to accommodate them. When we build our own house, it'll help us create room for other family members to also enjoy the shared inheritance.
What is the happiest part of your day?
"I am happy about the fact that I have life. However, I cannot remember any specific thing (situation) that has brought me happiness over the past six months."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The primary challenge in our home is to get enough food for the family. My husband has spinal cord problem. He's unable to engage in any labor intensive work. The only available work in Wolala is farming and charcoal burning. Because of my husband's health problem, he cannot do these works. As a result, we can barely get enough food for ourselves.
