How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Looking at GiveDirectly interventions, I am currently very happy because I acquired a bull in order to facilitate ploughing with the one I had earlier on bought. Previously, I would offer my manual support to other farmers in exchange for them to plough my farm land.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly interventions are by far the best since for them, it's up to the recipient to spend his/her transfer in anything he/she wishes. I do not not find any gap with GiveDirectly operations.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer worth UGX 500,000 for buying a bull that I intend to support the family with in ploughing. I bought a radio worth UGX 650,000 in order to play when my customers come around. I made bricks and burnt worth UGX 300,000 in order to use in constructing my house. I hired an acre of land to cultivate crops for the household. The balance of UGX 83,000, I spent it on feeding and buying school uniform for my children.
