Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was busy doing some work at home when I heard my phone message tune alarm. I hurriedly grabbed it and checked it, it was when I realised that it was a GiveDirectly cash transfer message. I was so very happy to the extend that I started to celebrate. I was celebrating because my family and I have been waiting for this dream to come true since I was enrolled on the GiveDirectly cash transfer program. Quickly I ran to my family to have them inform about the coming of the cash from Givedirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Since my entire life, I have never receive such money. I have not been happy like the way I am since I started receiving the money from Givedirectly. The biggest difference in my daily life right now is that, I am very much glad to see my children happy. I am seeing smiles on their faces each time they get themselves prepare for school. Having my previous house renovated and building a new house is something that will make me to never forget about GiveDirectly. Prosperity and development is my focus to build a better future for my children and family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My house is almost breaking down. The house is in a deplorable condition, building a new house and renovating my old house is my is my priority right now. I have decided to buy 20 bags of cement to renovate the previous house that I am living in and also build a new house. I have bought steal rods and other building materials to start this project. The rest of the transfer is being spent on my children who are in universities and high school. Having these children coming out of school with better knowledge to serve society positively is the future I want to build for them.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I will successful to receive the cash transfer are as follow: 1: I will build my new house because I have a very large family and I can not continue to rent it makes it very difficult to live together as one big family. 2: I will sponsor my children to be better in the future because education is the key to success in life and when my children are educated, they will take good care of me and my wife when we get older and are unable to work for ourselves.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what brought happiness to me was one of son's graduated from a computer program known as Grand Bassa Community College (GBCC). Secondly, the news of GD coming into our village to work because I knew that with the presence of GD in our village our lives will get better and some of us will establish something good for ourselves as responsible people.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My greatest challenge right now is that I am lack of finance to support my children to the fullest because five of my children are presently in college's and I need money to support them to finish with their schooling.
