How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
We want to have a cow which brings more milk so that it can help us to pay school fees for our children and buying other things that we need at home
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD thought about us who were on a low level ,who don't have education and it took everyone without selecting some people and leving others. Everything that GD is doing is good and it should keep doing it

We are planning to buy a cow which gives the best production of milk because we had a Rwandan cow which does'nt give much milk and we saved money so that we will be able to pay school fees for our child who is going to do national examination in case he succeed in it

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home with my husband when we first received the first GD transfer. I was very happy and thrilled because I had thought of buyng a piece of land that was just next to my house for so long. I was also able to buy a mattress and some food for my children. Having my own land to me means a sustainable source of income because my husband and I work in the fields and think it is a good investment
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
A lot has changed since I received the first GD transfer. We were in need of a mattress and some food. My two children are now able to go to school with an appropriate school uniform which was not the case before receiving my first transfer. I am planning on doing livestock farming when I receive LS2 and my husband fully welcomes that idea.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought some land worth 200 $, a mattress for 40 $, my child's school uniform for 10 $ and some food. I had been wanting to buy the land next to my house and I thank GD because I was able to do so

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I and my husband will use the money paying health insurance of $18, Agriculture activities will cost me $15, rebuilding my house will cost me $100, I will buy another cow of $350, I will buy also a land of $250 and I will use the rest in feeding my family and buying new clothes
What is the happiest part of your day?
My child and my mother in law were recovered from sickness and between I and my family we are all healthy
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Our harvest was not good due to climate change and my child Benita and My mother in law have been sick during agriculture season and I took much time caring for them, not working in my farm and that affected our harvest. Feeding my family of 5 people is not easy nowadays
