Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Before receiving this cash transfer, I depended on local tools for farming which was tiring and I never had enough land to farm. However, I got the opportunity to buy my own oxen and more farm land. In addition, with this oxen I have been able to help out some of the community members who are needy.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt happy because the poverty levels in my life were going to reduce.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchasing oxen worth UGX 1,000,000, rented farm land worth UGX 350,000, bought clothes/ household goods ( 2 mattress, 2 beds, 1 pair of bed sheets) worth UGX 345,000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will purchase land for farming. Right now I keep hiring land for cultivation and it's expensive. The balance of the money will be used to buy oxen for ploughing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is evening. This is the time I'm back from work to join my family. It brings joy because it's the time we are together as a family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of sustainable income to feed my family.
