What does receiving this money mean to you?
Upon receiving this cash transfer, my plan is to see myself going back to school. Since I dropped from school, I have been hustling to get back to school by riding motorbike. I don't have anyone to help me to support me in school. And secondly, the house that I'm presently living in, is not in a good condition. So, I will used portion of the money to see myself going back to and use the balance money to build a decent house for my wife and children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiness comes in when in woke in the morning and see my wife and myself looking healthy, that make me happy. Because the young generation of our time, are dieing untimely. Lastly, Givedirectly has done one of the most happiest days in my life, I felt that I could not go back to school and my wife couldn't do business in order to get back to school too by giving me phone and sim card to register it in my name and stand a chance to receive cash transfer which is the biggest joy of my life. I have not experience such an opportunity, and since I came up in life. Givedirectly will ever be remembered in my heart for their good work to us in time of poverty.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The current challenge that I'm faced with, is that in order to feed my family, I have to ride motorbike. The money I get, can't help me to send me to school. And the room that I'm in, is not in a good condition. When the rain is falling, I can't sleep, I have to park all my things in another person house, placed my dishes inorder to reduce the over flooding of the rain in the house.
