Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Now that I have finally achieved my previously set target of purchasing a cow, I want to ensure that I start the cycle all over again by saving as much as I can for a new project which is most likely improving my house through renovation and extending a new wing. As I keep saving for this, I also want to ensure that my family's needs such as food and other basic requirements are always met, therefore, I will be saving some of the monthly transfers and spending the rest on household requirements.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Over the past several months, I have been saving with the aim of purchasing a cow which I was finally able to achieve. Having this cow has brought a very big difference in my daily life because whenever I look at it, I am reminded of GiveDirectly's great impact in my life so far and shows that I can do anything I put my mind to. Having saved for several months to buy the cow, I also feel very motivated that I can do even more through the transfers. I have been spending quite a lot of money on milk which was the drive behind the idea of purchasing the cow so that I would have my own milk supply which will help cut down my daily household expenses.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have fulfilled my plan of renovating my house by extending a new wing and expanding the living room while at it within the next six months. We currently have a very small living room and I find it hard hosting a large group of visitors. It usually even a bigger problem when I have visitors who spend the night whom I have to request my neighbors to host because I do not have enough room. This is why I need to have an extra room where my visitors can sleep to stop embarrassing myself and putting my visitors in uncomfortable situations where they have to sleep in a stranger's house.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goals for the next four months is to be able to buy a cow after I receive money from my monthly merry go round contributions.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the house that we have built after receiving our merry go round contributions. We were living in a small grass thatched house that was hardly enough for all of us and a little bit more uncomfortable. With the monthly transfers I have also been able to buy the basic household needs in time and planted our farm in time.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in that I shall have bought a dairy cow that will improve

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Comparing my current life and the last four months, there is really a big difference. Initially, I was living in an old grass-thatched house but now I am living in well-furnished iron-roofed houses. I managed to obtain some furniture which is so comfortable unlike the old wooden ones which I was using before. Thanks to GiveDirectly now that my children have enough space to sleep in the other house while we also sleep in the other.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
After buying milk for our domestic use for a long time, I have a new goal to buy a cow so that we can start milking our own. Life has been so expensive since every day I have to buy at least a liter of milk which at the end of the month would have cost me a lot of money. I am still an active participant in the merry-go-round since this is the only hope I have in order to make the goal come to pass. I will be getting my turn in December which will be a good time for me to look for a good breed of a cow which we can keep for milk production.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
After receiving the first transfers from GiveDirectly, I decided to join a merry-go-round where we have been contributing 1500 KES monthly with other 19 members. These contributions have seen most of the group members make great developments in their homes when their turns come. I received mine in July and so far I have done alot. many differences have been registered in our household and the biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is the construction of two houses. I saw it good to start with the construction of both houses since initially, we were living in an old house which was also too small to accommodate my family members.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to see a lot of changes in my life. The major expectation I have is the purchasing of a cow which is our new goal at the moment. I have this expectation since by then I will have gotten the contribution from the merry-go-round.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I have a better and spacious house which we live so comfortably with my family. Before we could stay in a small mud house which could not host all my family well.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to continue saving the money in a merry go round group that we started in our village to enable me to buy a dairy cow. Buying a dairy cow will enable me to reduce the cost of buying milk. I will also be selling the surplus to my neighbors and use the money in meeting other household necessities.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I build a better and spacious house which can hold all my family members comfortably. Before I use to live in a small mud house. The house used to serve as the kitchen, sitting room and also bedroom. This was so embarrassing for us especially when we had a visitor at our home. Currently, we sleep so comfortably and we invite visitors without any fear like before. My children have their room where they do their assignments well and also sleep peacefully without disturbances.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have saved some money in the group to also enable me to buy building materials such as iron sheets to build a decent and spacious kitchen where my children can also sleep in.
