How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have been buying new iron sheets every single month, so for me, I would say that my life is different because I now have a good number of iron sheets which will, of course, make my dream of having a new roof become a reality. This is something that used to be an abstract dream in the past because I could not figure out how I was going to get new roofing yet I did not have any cash flow.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal right now is to be able to erect a new roof on top of my house because the current roof is quite old and keeps on leaking excessively during rainy seasons, making life quite difficult for us.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been able to expand my small scale business which now generates more revenues. I then use the revenues to keep my family going like buying food for the kids and ensure that the family is food secure.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I am sure that six months from now I will have been able to make some significant savings which I will then use to buy maize in large quantity, hoard them for some time as I speculate for a rise in prices and then re-sell them at a profit.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have a goat I bought with GD transfers which really makes me happy. In my community, you are considered very poor if you do not have any kind of livestock like a goat, sheep or a cow. Before the transfers, I was one of the poorest in the village and it was a big shame to me and my family. I had tried to get money to buy at least a goat or a sheep but I was not able to. With GD transfers, I have been able to buy a goat which has changed my whole story. Thanks to GD.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to start a foodstuff business. This will help me financially and be my source of income so that I don't lack anymore. From the profits, I will be able to solve most of my family financial matters in time and provide for the well to make a better future for them.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving this transfers is that I have new iron sheets which I will use in replacing my old roof. The one I have now has been leaking and during the rainy seasons, I could hardly sleep due to the leaking roof. I had to buy new seats because the leaking roof destroyed the ones I had previously. At night, I would have to move things around in the house while others were sleeping so that they can be safe from the rains. I am glad that I have all all the requirements to put up a new roof.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I plan to pay school fees for my grandchild who has been under my care after the death of her parents two years ago. I want to do this to fulfil the dream of her parents of making her get to university. This is a promise I made to the parents and I want to see it accomplished with the help of GD transfers.
