How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer before I used to buy milk and it was costly for me but now I have a dairy cow and I'm able to save some amount to meet other basic household items and pay school fees for my children.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well by giving us a chance to invest the money in what we love the most, I'm so happy because I have invested my money in the right projects .
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spend your second transfer on buying a dairy cow, and I used to buy milk and it was so costly for me, I also bought food, chicken and the remaining amount I bought building materials and build a spacious house for the family..

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life was last year when I was sick. Being a young mother and having no source of income as an household made our lives really difficult. I went to several hospitals seeking medication which bore no fruits. It reached a point that I could not move since my feet were swollen. I had to go back to my parents with all my three children since I could not be able to continue providing for them. I am feeling better now though I still feel pain in my hands and I cannot do heavy work.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I have all the household needs of the day and am sure to give my children an enjoyable day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
My life has been a difficult journey to speak the least. We do not have a descent house to stay in as a family. We are also struggling to meet the daily household needs. Receiving this money means that I would be able to meet part of these basic needs and raise a healthy happy family. I just feel so happy to be part of the beneficiaries. Some of the things we are sure to do with this money are things which were beyond our imagination on how we would do them.
