After receiving my second payment from GiveDirectly, I now have the desire to built a new house for my growing family. My first transfer was all spend to settled my children's school fees. Presently, we are living in a house with a thatched roof that is leaking so badly. Interestingly, my new goal is to built a new house with a zinc roof that will create more space and comfort for my family and I. I now feel proud and happy as a father that all my children are in school and very soon I will be starting the house project. And all praises to GiveDirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has been doing awesome and unthinkable things for us. Never in my life I have ever thought that some or any NGO could come as far as our village to give us this financial help. They have brought so much proud to us as people. Truly speaking, I don't see anything that GiveDirectly is not doing quite well. Many thanks to the GiveDirectly marvellous gestures.

Now with my new goal of building a new and bigger house with zinc roof, I used a good amount of the money and bought a three bundles of zinc as a starting point. Additionally, I hired someone and paid them with some of the money to cut sticks that will be use for the construction of the house. Furthermore, the balance money was spend on buying food and other household needs for my children.
