Me and my family's everyday lives have changed so much since receiving money from Givedirectly, now we have a nice and decent accommodation unlike in the past when our house had leakages and it was difficult to sleep during the rains.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am veru excited to be part of this program. We were just hearing how other people's lives changed with the cash assistance and now that the project is here we are very happy. I have always wanted to have chairs in my house. That will be the first thing I will buy and I will also buy iron sheets for the house and have the floor cemented.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happy when I have enough food to eat for that day. This gives me time to do other equally important household work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Lack of household items is my biggest hardship. We have very few pots and buckets which makes life harder to do other chores as a woman in this village especially when going to draw water at the borehole and also do other things such as washing and cleaning.
