How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I was able to buy materials for my new house with the first transfer.I had a plan long ago to build another house because my family members are many but because, My source of income was not much to establish my family life. My new goal is to now improve my old house and build a new house. Also to paid my children school fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well in my life. Because my life have changed. I believe that my life will never reduce to poverty. Givedirectly selection process was very straight and fair. The withdrawing process was not well because, Traveling from Rivercess to Grand Bassa is very challanging and with the withdrawing process also.Thanks to Givedirectly for making me a great person in my household

With this help from Givedirectly, I was able to buy additional construction materials and paid my children school fees with my recent transfer. How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
What I'm thinking about now is how to finish my house and focus on my children schools feel, also known what GiveDirectly has done for me and my family I'm very much grateful to them. I'm about to finish building house in GiveDirectly money that which i received I'm thankful to them. I'm thinking now about my third transfer which I'm deciding to open a new business to help me and my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
IN my own opinion now GiveDirectly has done very much well for me and my family. life wasn't easy for me and my family but through the help of GiveDirectly I'm now able to build a new house. Everything that GiveDirectly did it is good for us they have not done anything bad to us as poor people of Rivercesse county.

My most recent transfer I just bought zinc and about to finish my house and so that i can focus on my business. So that life cloud not be difficult after this programs again. I bought zinc and cement to finish my house and my children are now in schools. Things are very good now with us with the second transfer that I received from GiveDirectly programs.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at the marketplace When I received my transfer. I checked the alert message and there was a mobile money alerts from GiveDirectly. l was very much happy. I quickly found a bike to carry me to my village to inform my family that GiveDirectly has sent me money. When I give the good news to my wife, she and children were very happy. I have been having challanges with providing food and shelter for my kids in the past. Also, my children and I only ate one time a day. The condition of my house as you can see is beyond what any normal human shouin live in. Currently, those challenges now seems to be manageable. I am now living with the hope that my dreams has come to passed.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly is that I'm able to provide food for my family and I'm also able to buy my house materials to start building my own house. My dream has always been to get a house in my village for my family. With the help of givedirectly my dream has become a reality. I am so excited to see my desire come to pass. I will soon start to live in the comfort of my owned house.

"I'm planning to spend my transfer on buying some color zinc to start building my owned house and paid some of my children school fees. Before than, I've been plaining to build a house for my children and I. It was a dream that I felt would not have become a reality in this life. I didn't have the support to accomplish my plans. I'm just grateful to Givedirectly that I was enrolled on this program. Am so happy. It's a privilege for me. Now I'm able to buy food for my family and my children are very happy because they eat twice a day now.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'm a constructor and ontop of that, I sell gas and made soap to send my children to school and put food on my table. When i received this cash transfers, I will add up my business and made more profits inorder to continue supporting my family and develop properties aswell.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six month, it was july26 that brought joy to me because it was my country Independence Day. The little community susu i joined, normally disbursed during holidays. That money enable me to buy clothes for my children, and good meals for my family aswell.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I do make farm for my family consumption aswell but the little resources I invested in the farm, the animals destroyed everything leaving me zero balance. Now I'm challenged to buy rice orelse there will be no food in my home.
