How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I had no new goals only what I had on mind was what I did. I plan to pay my children balance school fees, and build my house and get food for the home. Paying my children school fees was my challenge because of no funds. With this fourth transfer my children can go to school again.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to bring the this program that offers cash to extremely poor people giving them hope. I so grateful to GiveDirectly and want to say a big thank you for making our lives better.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought mattress, food and paid my children school fees and purchase zinc.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I decided to build my house and then, send my children to school and make business in order to help yourself and build your family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, nothing has brought joy in my life. Since my wife left me, this the six months now, so that is not a happiness or joy to my life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My life is not really improving, because there is no finance help in order to learn trade. Because when I ask some of my families member for help, they always led me down. My wife left me because of condition in the that, sometime when he ask me to provide for the home and that which I can do and decided that I'm not man enough, so she left the house along with the two children (one boy, one girl) to her family.
