How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Right now i have a secure place to sleep. I am nolonger sleeping on my mosquito net as i now have a mattress and bed. This is such a big difference to my day to day life. In addition i was able to paint my house and will soon build a fence to cover my house .
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion everything that GiveDirectly is doing it is doing well. Every household was able to recieve the help because all the process were clear. The Feild officers visited all the household and this is something very good. There is nothing that GiveDirectly did not do well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am an elderly woman and my whole life i have never slept on a mattress and bed. I used to sleep on the ground with a misquote net as a mat. When i recieved the money, i went and bought a mattress and bed so that now i have a comfortable place to sleep. With the remaining money, i want to build a fence around my house because during the raining season my sourroundings are filled with water runing to the lake.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am grateful to have been considered in the program. As you can see, I am very old such that I am unable to support my self. With this money, I plan to renovate my house, buy kitchen utensils, matresses and beddings.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy during the time of harvest.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge is hunger. I don't have enough food.
