Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so excited when I received the money. Because my children school has just opened.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I was so worry when my kids school was about to open because I didn't have money for their fees. Besides, since I built my house, it was palm thatch that I used to roof it since I couldn't afford zinc price. It has always been my dream to have zinc over my house. With the help of God, I am one of the beneficiary of Give Directly transfer program. So with my first transfer, my children are in school now and I am keeping the rest of the money to buy zinc and change the roof or improve my house. I am so grateful for what Give Directly is doing for my entire family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used portion of the money to pay my children school fees. And I am keeping the rest to add up to change the roof of my house.
