What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent all the last transfer on construction of the house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done well in helping the poor people like us to do things that we couldn't have managed if we were not among the recipients. On the Other hand there is nothing bad givedirectly has done in our village.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am now eating, dressing and sleeping in a good house; so my standard of living totally improved the moment givedirectly got into the picture.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
My first transfer was spent to buy a bed, a mattress, four chairs, plates; bricks, timber and iron sheets to build a simple iron sheet roofed house.

The moment i recieved my money, i danced around in celebration with joy.

The biggest difference in my daily life is i can now afford to attain what i need with the money than before.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship am facing is lack of money to cater for my household's needs like food. My husband who was a bread winner was imprisoned six years ago and this makes it difficulty for me to fully meet my households necessities.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening.This is the time when my children return back from school.These children make me happy whenever they are at home with jokes and stories
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means buying household items like saucepans,bed for my household. I intend to use part of my transfer to buy nice clothes and mattress for my children so that they can look smart and sleep comfortably.
