How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I was able to buy a small piece of land with the first transfers and also paid school fees for my children, I now have solar panel at home and no-longer in darkness.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD is so helpful, I was personally supported, although my funds were stolen.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
The recipient was not able to spend any money because it was all stolen from his son who went to withdraw it from mobile money.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money to me means renovating my house,acquiring livestock,paying fees for my children and purchasing solar panel for light.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my children living in the towns send me some money for up keep and sugar.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in life in the current situation is buying food and difficulty in paying school fees for my grand children whose fathers abandoned.
