How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I hope to accomplish the plastering of my entire house and build a decent kitchen in this coming year, as I have started receiving this transfer from GiveDirectly, I am so thankful to God almighty and the Givedirectly family because my dreams have come to pass.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly is doing absolutely well in almost everything and could do more better if they enroll all of the nearby towns or villages to avoid those citizenries of those towns or villages feeling left out or discriminated.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most recent transfer was spent on buying bags of cement to plaster my house and zinc to build my kitchen.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have resloved finish my house project and fully furnish it if I received the cash transfer from GiveDirectly. I will buy 25 bags cement to plaster my house and also lay floor. Thereafter, I will purchase a living room set of furniture. In April of this year, my children decided to change my living place. They built for me a mud structure with a zinc roof. I have been sleeping in a tash building where rain falls on me every rainy season. I am greatful to my children for building me a zinc house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In April of this year, my children put together and built me a zinc house. This is one moment of my life that I became very happy since the death of my husband. Since the death of my husband 10 years ago, my children and I have been sleeping in a mud structure with a tash roof where every rainy season we have to relocate to other neighbors' house. It wasn't like that when my husband their father was alive. However, I am greatful to my children for building me a new zinc house and over plus greatful to GiveDirectly because their transfer will empower me to finish my house and fully furnish it.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Financ is my main hardship. I am above 70 years now but I am still doing farming work in order to substain. My husband passed away 10 years ago. I am.the only person caring for our 5 children. Only 2 of those children are partially independent. They are the ones who put resources together to build me the zinc house I am dwelling in presently. The house has no doors and windows yet I have to move in because where we were living would've exposed ur to further danger. I am greatful to the GiveDirectly family for thinking about us. Their presence will male pur community and our lives change positively.
