Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was going on my farm when I received the transfer at that time my children had just been sent out of class, I started to give thanks and prices to the Almighty God for GiveDirectly families.

The biggest differences in my life is that there is no pressure on me now for children school fees.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Being a farmer who always resided in people house as dwelling place is a tough situation . Throughout my life I have been dwelling in my relatives houses because I have nothing to build my own house . With the opportunity to receive the unconditional cash transfer from GiveDirectly I will definitely under take a house project with 75% of any amount received. The balance 25% will be used to open a table market for myself to enable me rest my body for hard work.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happy in the evening hours when I have returned from doing contract for my neighbors and relaxing with my children. Despite the miserable living conditions we have, my family are so dear to me because there are some of my friends who didn't bear a child up to now . Lecturing with my family can bring me joy and happiness especially in the evening hours.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenge I faced with is the lack of dwelling place for my family. I was born on March 15,1969 and I haven't been opportune to have my own house . Living with my spouse and children in people house is my challenge because I always received insults from relatives and other people whose houses I have been dwelling with my family.
