What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Receiving this money means financial stability and a better life. I depend on fishing to earn a living and recently the rains have led to a decreased supply of fish. I plan on using $500 to build a boat and another $200 to purchase fishing tools. This will ensure a consistent supply of fish and also reduced expenses hence an increase in income. I am happy because It is something I have desired for a long time and the transfers will enable me to achieve this. The rest of the transfers I shall use to pay school fees for my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My children are my greatest strength, their success is my happiness. I work hard to ensure they get all they need and make their lives better some day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Financial constraints are the biggest challenge, I am a fish monger and for the past two months my income has gone down. I am earning half of my income and this has hugely affected my plans. I am unable to pay school fees for my children on time and also other basic needs.
