How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed in that, I have improved status in the community due to the cow that I have acquired and the house that I have renovated. Prior to receiving this cash transfer, I had low status in the community and I used to stay in a leaky grass thatched house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well through giving unconditional cash transfer to the poorest of the poor like me that I have spent on acquiring items that I had lacked like a bull and cows. I have not seen what they have not failed to do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer for buying a cow that is acting as a saving for my household and for milk production. I paid a debt for the money that I had borrowed for meeting medical bills for my wife. I renovated my grass thatched house that I sleep in and sugar for the family.
