How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The cash transfers changed my life because I have constructed a four roomed iron roofed house with the cash transfers. My family of four children is happier and healthier now. With the cash transfers I can afford to buy various food types like meat, sugar. Before I received the cash transfers, we used to sleep in a small crowded hut and at times my family would go hungry because of lack of money to buy enough food. However, the cash transfers have saved my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well to send me cash transfers that have uplifted me. I have constructed a four roomed iron roofed house with the cash transfers. In my opinion, GiveDirectly has only done great things for the community.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase cement, and bricks for constructing a four roomed house. Then the balance was spent on purchasing food for the family.
