How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The significant change in my daily life is that, I am a happy person because I received a phone that I am using for communicating. Besides, I have paid all the school fees for my children. Prior to this cash transfer, It was difficult to communicate and pay school fees because I used to rely on my small business and produce for paying fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well through giving poor people like me money that I had never held as a person. The money has helped me roof my house that had stayed for long. I do not find any gaps with GiveDirectly's operations.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer worth UGX 780,000 for buying metalic doors and cement costed UGX 116,000 towards the construction of my house.I paid tuition and uniforms worth UGX 550,000. I then bought a mattress worth 120,000 and UGX 66,000 was spent on feeding at the household level.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I living a stress free life because I have been able to commence the construction of a better permanent house to stay in something I had failed to do for a long period of time.

The moment I received the money, I felt too excited to the extent that I failed to sleep till morning.
