How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never recieved the transfer in that it has enabled me to own a permanent house. Before, all I had was a grass thatched house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well by developing my community as we are at a better level than we were in before. However, givedirectly has done nothing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying a bull. This will help me in terms of ploughing. I also bought more building materials and fittings as I needed to complete my house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have been able to start the construction of my permanent house because I used to suffer sleeping under a thatched house.

The moment I received the money, I felt happy.

I have spent my first transfer on bricks, iron sheets and i'm planning to buy more building materials with the balance.

Receiving this money means building iron roofed house since where I reside is in bad state.

The happiest part is in the evening when I go to socialise with my peers in a drinking joint.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest challenge is lack of good accomodation and limited agricultural land. So I keep hiring where to cultivate .
