How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before receiving payments from GiveDirectly I have been a business woman. I make fufu and take to local markets to sell. I sometimes do contract like scratching of farms or harvesting rice for people. I get paid. The money I get paid is not enough. I was so happy when GiveDirectly came to my town. I am excited that I got enrolled. I had no new goals my goals have been to build a house for my children and myself. I live in my father's house. I am overwhelmed that my dreams will become a reality. My husband left me over 10 years now when our children was little. He doesn't assist me with them. I am a single mother struggling for the betterment of my children future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done nothing wrongly. It has changed my life for the best. I am so grateful for this opportunity.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was overwhelmed when I received my payment. I used some of my money to pay my children tuition and for their upkeep. I saved the rest of my money for my building project.
