What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on 2 bulls and oxen driven plough. This has really facilitated my farm operations and I really thank God that through Give Directly, he opened for me ways to produce more and increase my household food security. I remember back then, I used to hoe beginning from preparing farms for sowing to weeding. It was tiresome and less productive as compared to the current machines that I acquired.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchasing a goat with an intention of getting the offsrings that I would sell to take care of any emergency, did some household shoping like purchasing sugar and soap and used most of the transfer on purchasing a sack of maize to sustain the family since buying in bits was hectic.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I was very happy. I had gone by the lake side to conduct my fish business and when I came back home and checked my phone afterwards, I was very happy after confirming that GiveDirectly had sent the transfer and the first person to inform the news was my husband and we started discussing on what to purchase immediately.
