How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, before I used to have a lot of stress because I could not provide for my family with basic needs. Now that I got my transfers from GiveDirectly, I can afford to provide basic needs for my family and we are happy.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has reduced on levels on poverty in my villages. People have constructed permanent houses and can afford to have three meals a day.

I have spent my transfer on purchasing Livestock at UGX 630,000 saved 1,000,000 and added UGX 2000 to buy food.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have got a peace of mind, because I have been in position to buy two cows that am intending to use for paying pride price.

The moment I received my transfer, I became very happy and I danced a little.

I spent my first transfer for purchasing two cows at 980,000UGX, beddings at 128,000UGX, clothes for my self and my wife at 202,000UGX, a bicycle at 270,000UGX, food at 107,000UGX and plates at 15,000UGX.

Receiving this money means ,I am going to buy a plot of land for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is noon time, especially after garden work .then my wife comes and dose another extral duty of washing my clothes,this makes me feel loved by her.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which i face in my life ,is pressure from my in-laws for dowary. since I have not married their daughter .
